School to Work

The school to work web application enables students to investigate a career. For many students, making a career decision can be overwhelming because there are so many choices. Working part time in a business environment provides experiences that help students make informed decisions that affect their future.

School To Work allows school districts to maintain a list of jobs available with local businesses. Students and their parents can go to a web site and view information about career opportunities from companies that have specifically offered services to a school district.

Site administrators have complete control over all job offerings. A job consists of contact information, a customizable field of work such as Architecture, Health Care, Law, etc. and up to six types of activities such as information interviews, job shadowing, paid experience, summer internships, tours and volunteer work.

Students and parents can view all available jobs or search for specific fields of work and/or activities.
